Sometimes muted subtlety is better than flamboyant colours. (sometimes=always). I just hope they don't compromise the artistic integrity of the game in the process of trying to revamp it. There's a reason I won't be playing TERA (even though I think the combat system is a huge step forward for MMOs).
Ya i agree with you 100% They should not try and add colors just for the sake of other players who like it. At the very least allow us to change the look of the game and have something close to FFXIV 1.0 and players who want more of a tera,aion feel can change the setting for more of a 2.0 feel.
