Well i personally dont like the screenshot at all... these colorful colors, the textures seem to me very "cartoonie" and not that sharp, no bump mapping like now.

it looks like an "AION", "Rift", "WoW" with these powerful colors... i hope that this wont come true.

ya that what i thought when i saw it but people keep saying it look better i don't understand people sometime i guess people like that type of art look. I hope we allow to change the look of the game to look more real and less colorful.

I'm one of the people that thinks it looks better. But hey, everyone's tastes are different. That's just the way it goes

I really want to know how the hell that looks cartoony. And, FFXIV currently uses Normal maps, not bump. Bump would be going a step backwards.

Powerful colors? Everything looks pretty dark and muted to me honestly. And the big sword? Because big swords are something new to Final Fantasy? (Cloud, Tidus, Squall... hell Sephiroth has a freaking 6ft long sword)
