So i vaguely remember SE stating they'll make a moving function(To move from one plot to another while keeping your interior design etc.)
Any idea when this is coming and if its coming before the new wards?

I hope so. I want to move my FC into a large house from our medium.
I just wanna move spots when there are new places available really. i bought a large but didn't really find the spot that great. But there isn't much choice right now. it would really suck if i wouldn't be able to move at one point xD
I recall it said it would have implemented before the new wards, however, it has not mentioned this when last time talking about the new wards.
In addition, I recall it has never mentioned "keeping anything" explicitly, It was just players' expectation.
FYI

As a next step, we’ll be making a feature that allows you to move locations, and we’re looking into either increasing the amount of land or creating a housing area in Ishgard around the same time this feature is ready.

We'll be increasing the number of plots for existing housing areas in Patch 3.3.

Can't find it but they said the move feature would ensure we don't lose our airships or private rooms, but you won't get Gil back from your prior plot.
Would love a moving feature.
I managed to get a small plot while the house is basically big enough I am really feeling the limitations on the garden so I am saving for a medium or even a large plot atm (if i managed to get it done before 3.3)
And I am sure there are people that want to move to Ishgard (personally I love lavender beds so Ishgard has to be mind blowing) but still people are going so some spots might open up. however the risk of taking down my current house (after finally getting one after 2 years) and then rushing for a new plot is to risky.
I would even accept with being able to buy the new plot and having your old current plot automatic being relinquished with a warning when you buy the new plot.
But moving would be awesome![]()
They need to insure that private house owners are able to move their housing glam with them when they move to a new plot as well!
My friend and I were lucky enough to find a nice small plot in mist on Christmas, and we spent the last few weeks building a Small Mogwall for our home. It was a lot of work and not inexpensive either.
SE please give us an easy way to move our house glam and all furniture to a new plot if we find one that we like better.
And get rid of the damn "Cannot be retrieved once placed" on furniture and lawn decorations. All this does is make me (and a lot of other players) not buy these items. I'm not going to spend tons of gil on items that will be destroyed if I remove them. That's stupid. Give homeowners a chest, like an FC chest to store furniture in. I'll buy more expensive stuff and crafters will make more gil!
I would like to move, because i made the 101 rookie mistake of buying the house next to the mb, now my lawn is filled with idle people or they always climbing around my fence, etc lol. i mean i know theres no real way to stop that, its normal. but these guys, are nice, but like...they bought a house only to LIVE IN MY LAWN. i wish i could just copy pasta my house and put it on the other medium plot in the ward :/ specially since its the same plot layout (centered from fence, not sideways or different so a copy pasta would work if it was doable lol)
