How many was the most times you ever grinded an instance for a single specific item?

Those magnificent bastards from the aery were my white wale for a loooong time (no I don't tank like that :P)



I leveld my Pala, my Ast and my Whm almost only there (give or take a few runs in higher dungeons) - so I'd say 15 levels for them. And it's not like they dropped and the tanks needed on them while I was on my healers NO, they didn't drop even ONCE!

Then while my bf was leveling his pala I helped out as heal and they dropped and that bastard needed on them.........I was maaaaaaaaaaad
Me farming those boots became a running gag in my fc - I saw the red panda drop more than the boots during all the damn runs! Panda: 2, Boots: 1
I tanked the dungeon every so often when I was bored and someone needed it and eventually got them as I tanked for my bf - I was kinda emotionless when they finally dropped, it felt unreal..>_>

This happened when I got my Ramuh bow. I was helping some others so we went in again, and ...boom another bow.
I actually said out loud "Fuck you, Ramuh".
