I did the same thing back in the day. It probably took at least that many. I wasn't going for a schoolgirl look specifically but I wanted a nice pair of shoes that would show off the thigh-highs. :x

Hmm, I think Turn 9 for the BRD coat took a lot of runs, it was 40 to maybe 50 or so runs to get it.
In fact, a lot of my highest amount of run top 10's are from grinding Allagan gear... but that's what happens when you have an obsession with Allagan stuff.
They took me a lot of runs to get, also, just ask my good friend who suffered through most of it with me.
The Allagan stuff is some of the best-looking gear in the game, so it's no surprise. There are still a number of pieces I want to get, and I'm incredibly excited for the dyable versions coming in 3.2!

I am too, I just really hope it doesn't involve that specialist garbage though :/
And same here, I got a few bits left from Turn 5 to get, I'll have a full Allagan collection then.
I'm almost positive at this point they will be Specialist-locked after all of the Sky Pirate's gear was. They may not be, if they tie them to Red Scrip mats, I suppose, but that's...not necessarily a better state of things, since the Red Scrip system as a whole is still a convoluted mess.
I mainly want the healing gloves from T1 (I accidentally turned them in for Seals ><), a few of the original Allagan weapons, the healer coat from T7, the tank gauntlets from T8, and the healer pants from T9. Sadly, opportunities for glamour farming seem few and far between on my server.

I'd take red scrip relation over specialist relation, any day :PI'm almost positive at this point they will be Specialist-locked after all of the Sky Pirate's gear was. Ah, that sucks, I also traded a bunch of my BCoB loot for seals way back thinking it won't matter as the runs will be way easier to DF etc etc... yeah, now it's not a question of ease, it's whether it'll pop, or whether a PF will fill or appear![]()
