Remove gauss barrel attachment and just make it a buff please

I mentioned before in another thread but really they just need to make a display toggle for the gauss barrel effect that is on the gun. Then people who want it off can have it off and people who like it how it is can leave it on.

There isn't really any need to remove it completely; it just needs an option in the settings to turn the effect off if so desired.

Unfortunately there is a need. Guns will still be made with gauss in mind. That means even tho you'd fix the alignment issue it won't fix guns that float quite a bit off the person's back.

All jobs have the floating off your back problem with certain weapons and also shields are a big culprit. So that isn't necessarily a gauss barrel problem nor is it limited to MCH weapons.

Yes but it looks worse with MCH. Look at the eso weapon. See how at the corner it's close but then there's a big gap along the barrel? That's because of gauss.

Huh. I never realized it, but MCH weapons do indeed float a noticeable distance further from the backthan weapons for the other jobs do. That's going to bug me forever now. Thanks. x.x
