One character being a swiss army knive is a sure fire way to kill alts, & one of the reasons why the new races are not played by many people per the census.

Kind of make you wonder why they introduce new races........

....& how these rarely used races were put ahead of popular jobs.

Personally, I pretty much focus on one job per toon; such a pain to juggle multiple jobs. Unlike in XI, were you could level nearly every job to max in 24 hours during exp campaigns if you decided sleep was your priority this day.

I have no idea how they would incorporate alt-friendly systems, but I wish it was easier to play with an alt. I like having two characters for different classes that I feel fit them best, but it's just not possible to keep them at the same pace in terms of level/unlocked content/story.

That's nice, can I swap races instantly without buying Fantasia? I like to play different races, and write different stories for each character.

Instead of telling people to GTFO, maybe try some constructive criticism?

I love my alt characters and would probably have more if it wasn't for the obligatory MSQ.


I don't know if SE would approve such a change since they might lose some money without having to sell MSQ potions to alt characters but in any case they could still sell them Job potions for quick leveling, the money I didn't spend on MSQ I would use to buy Jobs instead.

I wouldnt mind easy hotbar layout transfer between characters.

(Im on PS5 so cant edit .ini files or anything)
