Make FFXIV More Alt-Friendly... Please??????

Minor QOL changes but its far from alt friendly where it counts.

Some would argue that the game is already alt friendly by eliminating the need for alts by allowing one character to have all jobs and crafting/gathering classes, unlike WoW. The only need for an alt now would be if you wanted to play in different regions, which few players do.

So what is "where it counts" and give examples of other MMORPGs that do it.

As someone with an alt on another region, there are a few things I'd like to be shared, even if I understand why they don't. I understand it, I just disagree with it.

Specifically I want event rewards to be account-wide. Especially for older events that won't be rerun and the stuff is on Mogstation. Having to re-purchase everything feels bad. I'd get stuff being on the store for people who didn't play through the event to get the rewards in the first place, but the longer you've played the game, the more you have to re-obtain.

That and I'd be cheeky and say "lol I want my Seal Rock Field Commander set be account wide please". I've obtained all the necessary wins on one character, I should not have to suffer through it all again on NA @w@;; EU isn't great on PVP but holy crap NA's worse!!

My reply was meant for WoW and not FFXIV.

Also people create alts not just for different regions but also to RP or even to have different races. I do the latter, I got my lala main but enjoy my alt Roe lady a lot.

A truly alt friendly game would be GW2 hands down. You do not need to grind at all on any character to be able to do content, glamour is unlocked account wide, too.
