Lost City Of Amdapor, bar none.
Lost City Of Amdapor, bar none.
Wanderer's Palace (non-HM)
It was the only dungeon that actually felt less linear (keyword being "less") and running away from the tonberry was somewhat of exciting, something that most of the new dungeons seems to lack.
Turn 13 from the FCOB, no doubt. The music, the twisters...the everything. What I call a proper raid.
For trials, I love Titan EX. It's just so much fun. Might as well add all of the EX primals though.
As far as dungeons go, I'm partial to the Aery (as I ran that more than a few times to get to level 60) and Fractal. Yeah, Fractal. ^^
Raids? Nothing beats Coil. In fact Coil is my favorite thing in the game.
For dungeons, surprisingly it is Arboretum, at least for now^^
Has enough "oh shit" moments to keep me mildly interested as the healer without having too many obnoxious mechanics that make the whole run just really annoying, like some other daily roulette dungeons did...
Also, it is just SO pretty! *o* It's been out for months now and I still marvel at the beauty everytime we enter, still love the big drop after the bee section and still enjoy listening to the calm, fitting music^^
For Primals, Ramuh EX
Visually one of the most amazing Primals fights, and I just love how much teamwork matters there. For difficulty I always pefer cooperation > mechanics > dps checks. So Ramuh, with both fun mechanics AND the need for cooperation always was my favorite Primal fight
Raids....uh, that's hard. T2 when it was just released (before healers could heal through enrage!) comes to mind. Usually positioning in FFXIV is pretty lax, so having a fight in which any step had to be taken with the utmost care was..fun <3
I guess that's why I also loved all Final Coil turns so much. Mechanics, positioning, cooperation. They had everything I love in a fight![]()
Thou I was a tank for most of my runs threw the Crystal Tower raids (so stand here push this button for behemoth king & watch for lose adds since I always choice OT duty... cause when ever I ran DPS all I saw was non-stop Adds eating non-tanks, figured at lest if I was on them I didn't have to worry about that) it was my fav... till I never needed it again & when ever I try'd it was over 2hrs of tank wait times with a group that fell apart near the end due to bickering) will still remember when I made a funny conection to Magic the Gathering with Syrcus Towers 1st boss (boss uses all magic, u'r fighting in "The gathering" so with a funny word play u'r fighting "Magic" in "the Gathering" hence my lol moment when I figured it out)
edit: & I almost completly forgot about the Odin Trial... whole reason I got the mount from the mogshop cause I like the music

Aurum Vale. i want a hard mode for this
Huakke Manor NM (the HM is flashy but boring compared to the NM). Its like going through a Resident Evil stage and I loved every bit of it. Probably the only dungeon I can recall with fun memories.
Arbitorium looked pretty but meh, looks don't make it fun so its probably my 2nd favorite.
T9-T13 for me! Alexander just doesn't compare.![]()
