Wouldn't it be nice if we could force a log out from the server so it wouldn't take 5 minutes to log back in after a minor 5 second internet disruption?

Of course there are is the scenario where a hostile logged into your account while you're playing, so you wouldn't want them able to kick you out. But say if you had a One-Time Password set up, you could enter that in the lobby screen and it would force a log-out.

That would be nice.

It takes longer if you're constantly logging in and receiving the "character is already logged in" message.

Yeah 5 minutes isn't the longest record of being locked out (oddly 2nd coil for a static member was longest for me too at around 20 minutes, but that's inside an instance so maybe special case) but it's long enough to get irritated about it.

My record was only 20 min :O sounds harsh

My personal record is a little over 24 hours, I was at work for most of it, but gf was freaking out trying to find me, turns out my char was stuck in loading limbo and wouldn't leave servers. Luckily there was a maint that next night, so was all cleared up afterwards.

Mostly though, it's only 1-2 min max, and lately I've noticed that I seem to log back in immediately, so seems that it's actually getting better.

Once we had member dc-ed in quarantine in a4s, and fight was unable to finish, and we couldn't even leave instance, and he couldn't log in back either. I think, that GM helped with that issue back then

Yeah, sometimes it takes too long. But it usually doesn't take more than a minute or two from my experience. A force log out option would be really nice though.

Would have been a godsend for many people, including myself, that were locked out of the game at launch for days (some up to a week, I was out for 3 days) with 3102.

Only took like a minute if that to log back in I DCed earlier and try to log back in got message that already logged in waited like 15-20 second and was able to log back in.
