I posted this in another topic under the Feedback section but I also wanted to post it in the General Discussion section since this is what most people read.

Players come and go, Linkshells also come and go and I would rather not have the basis of me having a place to call my own subject to whether people and/or linkshells stick around. We don't know how this is going to work in the FFXIV V2.0 but I hope we can get more information on the plans for this.
