On PS4. how do I take a selfie

I see a post of people posting selfies of their characters. how do i do this on ps4?

remove the HUD with L1 + the super large button in the middle of your controller (does it have a name?) and then use the share button to make a screenshot

When I accidentally turned off my entire HUD once I spent like 15 minutes googling how to turn it back on. Now I have like 300 screenshots. It was a happy mistake.

As the above poster said, press L1 and the touch pad simultaneously to remove the HUD, and again to make it reappear. Have a lovely Eorzean day.

I see people posts where it looks like their character is holding the camera in front of them and looking into it. i want to take a picture like that

Use the "point" emote and zoom in.

You can move your character in front of an object, then move your camera between the object and your character to zoom in at a closer angle than you previously couldn't. After that, just use the /point emote and take a screenshot.

or you can use the command /facecamera and your character will look directly into the camera

If you also use a Keyboard to type, there's a button to turn it on and off. However the default button isn't on most wireless keyboards but it can be changed for both in the settings.

the default button is scroll lock. cant imagine a keyboard not having that on it.

Logitech wireless. Unless they changed the icon and placement of the button. I had to change my key to the insert button.
