Unlocking Alexander Savage once Gobdips are available?

Once Gobdips become available, does anyone think Alexander Savage will be unlocked? It'd be great if it did , can farm AS4 *cringe* for weapons, chests, mounts

It is a 100% guaranteed eventuality that Alex Savage will become unrestricted, most likely on the release date of 3.2, scheduled for next month. But whether we'll get casual gobdips before that date, is a good question. SE seems reluctant in the past to unrestrict the 8 man raids prior to the next tier releasing, but I think it's the best thing for them to do a few weeks before hand. Concern of players BiS'ing all their jobs and unsubbing until next patch is a real thing, but any time with <1 month until said patch improving access to the tier becomes a business boon, bringing back unsubbed players sooner, and boosting game activity/player morale by allowing people to spend time gearing and learning new jobs in case they feel like changing their main before the next raid tier happens.

Answering the thread question....NO. I expect we will get handout Gobdips before 3.2, and Savage will remain on current lockout cycles until 3.2 is live
But I hope this will be solidly addressed in the live letter a week from now

Gobdips won't be handed out like that not with the relic grind as it is ><

I think they will still be gated behind clearing Savage 4 tbh

OP, if you're gonna try to clear Savage just for the Gobdip LOL better get started on that Relic it's far easier

If the relic had been released earlier, we probably would have seen gobdips in 3.15. They'll probably be buyable with hunt seals or added to a weekly quest in 3.2, since you will likely be able to buy a ilvl220 weapon with a few weeks of new tomes.
