    Pillars and stairs

Can we have the option to remove the pillars along the walls? They can get pretty annoying sometimes. Also, can we get an ability to change the appearance of staircases just like with flooring, walls, and light fixtures?

I'm a little disappointed how the Riviera staircases look. They look like someone stacked a bunch of crates for steps. I guess maybe that's what they were going for but its disappointing considering how beautifully ornate the other zones' designs are.....

An option to change the basic design of the interior of the house would be great; the pillars embedded in the walls of Goblet houses can really get in the way of placing items, and I think you actually end up having less space to work with than Mist or Lavender Beds units. All they'd have to do is add it to interior fixtures, and let you drop a consumable 'Riviera/oasis/glade interior' item in, the same way wallpaper works.

Yeah you do get "cheated" out of some space because of the pillars in the Goblet housing. There was a post a good while back that had pictures of how difficult it was to get furnishings to sit flush against walls. I do appreciate my Goblet home and made it into something nice but I've wished for an option to change the pillars for a while.

agree 100% we should be able to customize the appearance of any aspect of a home imo.

Would it even be possible, from a technical standpoint, to make it an "interior fixture" option, much like the ceiling light or the wallpaper? I think it would be the best way to solve this problem, if pillars and stairs are not hardcoded or anything.

That's what I was thinking it would be, Wilan.

On a similar topic, can we also have the option to remove all the supporting pillars besides the main pillars on the four corners? I can't count how many times I scream "Yoshidaaaaaaa!" when the furniture I wish to place ends up in a weird position because of the supporting pillars in the way.

I'm behind this, too many time those pillars have really hindered how I would have liked to have placed some furniture arrangements. Especially when it comes to downstairs Riviera where I have these 2 bulky pillars at the bottom of the steps in which I wanted to create a hallway to make a more spacious looking downstairs but the pillars tend to make it a bit too cramped.
