That we're gonna have to wait til 4.0 to meet up with Yda and Papalymo, or are we gonna go to Ala Mhigo in the 3.x storyline (3.3-3.5)?
Speculation is fun =D

We will have a reunion with those 2 on the next patch, you can be well sure of that.
Yeah, it seems like we will meet them on 3.2.
3.0 we reunited with Yshtola. 3.1 was with Thancred. Going by trend. The duo is likely, especially since we saw them at the end of the patch.
I think Minfilia is more likely for 3.2, actually... Go talk to Krile and Thancred in the Rising Stones...
They said they're still looking for a way to track Minfilia down in the Rising stone.
The Crystal braves who still side with the Scions already located Yda and Papalymo to be with the Ala Mhigo resistance but they just can't get the Resistance to trust them due to how majority of the Crystal Braves already betrayed the Scions. We most likely may have to step in for 3.2 since the Ala Mhigo Resistance can trust the Warrior of Light.
The Scion Crystal Braves have also located Hoary Boulder, Coutlenet, and F'lhamin to be located in Thavanir.
So currently Yda and Papalymo are the most likely Scions to return in 3.2 then followed by Hoary Boulder, Coutlenet, and F'lhamin since the Scion Crystal Braves are trying to make contact with them.
Along the line we get close to the Battle of Ala Mhigo as we get closer to 4.0 since I heard the Dragonsong war may end in 3.3 leaving 3.4 and 3.5 about reaching the expansion location which has been strongly hinted since 2.0 to be Ala Mhigo.

Thats what got me thinking about it kind of, I dunno if 3.2 will have us meet up with them or Minfilia (maybe with Alisaie?) I don't see us going to Ala Mhigo until after the dragonsong war, which is ending in 3.2 as far as I've read from Yoshida's statements
I think we'll find Yda and Papalymo in the next patch, or at least communicate with them from afar somehow. Why would they tease them so soon otherwise. As for Minfilia, I hope the Ascians capture her again, let them deal with her constant requests.
If Ala Mhigo is involved, I doubt we'll see any sign of the nation until 4.0 (Assuming Ala Mhigo is the focus next expansion). If anything, the Dragonsong war will end and the Ala Mhigan resistance will gain a good amount of focus leading up to 4.0.
Krile says;
"I have an idea how we might find Minfilia, but I'm still working through the details. Tell you later?"
Unless 3.2 omits Krile entirely, I'm pretty sure that is where 3.2 will pick up; Krile telling us her plan and us doing it. Whether it is successful or not is another thing entirely, of course, but I'd still say that's a pretty strong indicator as to where 3.2 will be going.
No, they haven't. Aergmhus is the only one to even mention them, and he only says; The Crystal braves who still side with the Scions already located Yda and Papalymo to be with the Ala Mhigo resistance but they just can't get the Resistance to trust them due to how majority of the Crystal Braves already betrayed the Scions. We most likely may have to step in for 3.2 since the Ala Mhigo Resistance can trust the Warrior of Light.
"I'd wager those Ala Mhigans know where Yda and Papalymo went. In fact, I would not be surprised if they helped them to flee the city -not that they would ever admit to such.
After all, half the Braves up and turned their cloaks during a royal banquet. What reason do they have to believe us when we claim we're friends?"
We suspect the Ala Mhigan refugees in Ul'dah helped get them out, that's it. We don't actually have any idea where they are now, outside cutscene hacks.
The first time they teased Varis zos Galvus was in... 2.3? We didn't see him in person until 3.0, just sayin'.

Another interesting question, do you think Yda will have another mask or will she have her face revealed?
