Hmm, if that is true and they done this before on the JP servers, I can't consider it impressed cause they already got the situation down beforehand. I mean it took weeks in JP/NA servers, but days in China? That sounds weird. Well it will impressed ppl for those who didn't know that they already done it before. That's my take.

what's truly impressive in the 4 days time frame is that they basically had no gear. It tooks weeks of gearing for world first when the chinese just did it with the bare minimum

Doesn't take long to get full alexander sets, also do Thor Ex for weps. But i suspect the servers might of had transfer options.

They were 190ilvl, thats what impressive. No thordan weapons. Go do it yourself before you start talking them down, pls.

No-one's even "talking them down", but simply putting their clear into perspective. Having had months of experience clearing the fight already, they took the maximum DPS composition and underwent a flawless execution of a scripted dance. Impressive, yes, but not an indication of 'these guys are so good they learnt and cleared Savage first time in 4 days', as others are mistakenly thinking.

Chinese server doesn't have Thordan Ex and only had 2 weeks of Alexander normal mode. They have the same conditions as we had back in August when they first released alexander savage (except they have experience due to clearing it for months on JP servers. I'm talking gear wise here)

They had NM for 6 weeks before Savage, which is how they were able to hit Savage in full i190.

Combine that with some i210 gear pieces from their clears, they actually started on savage with a higher ilvl average than everyone else because they had more weeks of Alexander normal to get i190 pieces. Not sure about esotarics though.

It's not about their gear, it's their experience of that raid.
