Thread: Jobs to progress by clearing quests...

My suspicion personally is that there won't be job /levels/ at all, actually; that jobs will provide a template of stat buffs to a particular class, along with new skills for that class to use and new, specific armour.

From what I understand, your advanced class will not be EXP leveled. It will gain it's levels through job specific quests. Your regular classes like PUG, LNC, GLA, CNJ, etc., will still level via EXP.

Personally, I think it's a very interesting concept to level Paladin, Black Mage, White Mage, Dragoon, Warrior, Monk and Bard through means other than repeated EXP grind.

Also from what I gather, you earn the skills for those jobs via the quests as well.

I already do this, complete them on Conjurer, hand in on Archer, ding 19k exp from the main storyline!

I think it should be an option.

*Grinding mobs solo
*Grinding mobs in a party
*Grinding quests solo

All should be optional. When I have the time I would love to party up and go grind with it for a few hours. When I do not have that much time I would love to log and go do some quick solo quest (leves are good for this anyway). When I do not feel like partying I would love to put on some music and go grind some mobs solo. I find it pretty relaxing to do

So you keep to level your CLASSES with XP and your jobs with quests?
