When the chocobo racing prompt comes up saying that your race is ready, certain actions can cause the prompt to disappear (pressing ESC, speaking with an NPC, etc.)

Unlike the duty finder prompt, it does not have a notification you can click on and you can't go through a duty finder like menu to check the status to bring up the window again.
