Your skill can't even be used the way you described half the time. It only comes into use IF the node is higher up, and that's a huge "IF." If your skill relies on tomelith RNG to make it powerful, and you somehow think it's more powerful than a skill that you can use ANYWHERE, I don't really know what to tell you.
No one leaves a game against a Scholar thinking, "man, Aura Blast is really powerful! Their use of it was a major reason why we lost!" - it's way down on the list of things that are powerful about Scholar.

FAM comon now how many times have people you've played against said "man, that Retro knocked off my infuriate right before I fell cleaved or caused all the bullets to fall out of my gun, it must be really powerful! That use and that rng are a major reason we lost!"

I feel like that's way down on the list of things that have been said about Astro
