    Will we ever have access to the current Ishgard?

    Now that we know the current FFXIV is going to be ditched and replaced by FFXIV 2.0 in a year, do you think we'll ever get to go inside Ishgard? The current one, obviously.

    I sure hope so...

    There might not even be a current Ishgard there for us to access, just the skeleton of it. I would like to see it opened before the next year though.

    In all likelihood there is not Ishgard. They probably never got around to making the map for it before they switched over work to 2.0.

    If you look through the 2.0 notes, it mentions joining with the Ishgard Knights against a dragon horde or something like that.

    So they have it planned, it's just a "when it gets here, it gets here" kind of thing.
