Lets shut these new tanks up please: 7 PLD 1 SCH Thordan clear and then 7 DrK 1 WHM

I am so sick of people spouting off about how broken WAR is and using stupid videos of old content that we are way out geared for as a reference point.

I want to run a 7 PLD, 1 SCH/WHM Thordan clear and a 7 DrK 1 WHM/SCH Thordan clear and then an 8 PLD Ravana clear (because God only knows they will start using the 8 WAR clear as ammo soon).

I am on Gilgamesh if anyone is interested. I encourage all of my fellow high level tanks on other servers to do the same.

Lets put the full potential of ALL the tanks on display and help to educate some people.

Hell yeah I wanna see this happening ! If only I knew 6-7 other PLD/DRKs who are skilled enough to try this with me. Sadly, I only know very few of them. Still gonna try to find people.

PLD has by far the easiest DPS rotation of the 3 tanks (none of them are hard really). Goring Blade, RA, RA, Goring Blade and SW/CoS on CD.

What will make it tough is properly managing each others Clemency+Convo to prevent overhealing and a DPS drop off. The fact that 7 PLDs can rotate HGs for all the TBs is gonna make this fight a joke. I am actually pretty excited to do it.

I actually think this fight is quite easily achievable with 7 PLD
- Taking turns using Divine Veil between AOE dmg
- Fight only requires one MT
- Fight is not TP heavy
- Tank LB if you enter P9/10 with Sacred Cross cast for mitigation
- SwO PLD with iLv 205+ usually maintains 900+ which still makes the fight easily clearable

Just bear in mind with these lineups that you'll be 10% DPS down over usual figures due to a lack of Slashing Debuff. Should still be possible, of course, but the PLD that does 900 dps with a warrior in the party will only be doing 820 without.

AST has emnity issues and I will be expecting my MT (honestly it will prolly be me anyway) to ride the line of hate and with a solo heal and PLDs shit aggro that WILL be an issue. Also there will be no BRD so mana might be an issue for AST.... Also AST does shit DPS compared to SCH... Honestly I would prefer to have a SCH because really I am counting more on healer DPS than heals because 7 PLDs can rotate HG and can off heal as needed.
