    Randomized Dungeons :)

    I have recently played Persona 3. I noticed that there is one dungeon yes, but it is entirely randomized with random bosses/events/loot as well. Its really cool and fun and each dungeon feels like a new thing.

    Why can't dungeons/raids be more like this? Randomized Dungeons + Exploration! Could even throw in traps and puzzles as well, doesn't even have to be too complicated.

    Pretty much, as much as I would enjoy having to solve a puzzle or hunt through a maze like structure (which I'd also want to change) unless we had 2 new dungeons similar, I can see this type of dungeon having people drop out almost as bad a Steps.

    Too good for this game, may never happen, but could make the devs pay attention if we get some more people asking for it so they can bring some more variety into these dungeons.

    Persona 3's dungeon was randomized, but that's easy to do when every room looks the same and there's only a few room designs.

    Neat idea, but lets not base it off persona. They are great games don't get me wrong, but the "random" dungeons is far from the reason for that.

    I'd love some procedurally generated content, something like the generated maps in old dungeon crawlers like Rogue, NetHack or Mines of Moria. You could visit ech floor and it would be different evey time, even retracing your steps going back to a floor, it would be different.

    On the flipside, every time something like this gets suggested, someone always posts how it would be too hard to balance. Personally I don't see that, the treasue obtainable scales with dificulty, there will be some party combinations that won't work with somelevels, and occaisionally some partywill absolutely nail it, complete a difficult section and get a great reward, but that's all RNG. Unfortunately, people will complain when that happens, cry about balance and in response the content will be nerfed and neutered...much like Exploratory Missions...

    Should base it on games like Disgaea, Cladun X2, Minecraft, Terraria, Legasista, or Bloodborn's random dungeons.

    I don't think that we'll get fully randomized dungeons, but if we get more randomized things to watch out for like the blocks in A1 or the totems in Wanderer's Palace HM, that'd be pretty cool. Amp it up just a bit and make it a little bigger or more interesting and it will definitely have the randomized dungeon effect without being completely annoying for people.
