How Do I Acquire Mistbreak Gear?

I decided I wanted to try acquiring the full set of Mistbreak gear for my whm class. So, I decided to begin my research by looking up the head piece (Mistbreak Klobuk of Healing) online.

I soon realized, that among the 3 pages (that I sifted through) of source material. Not one source sited how to acquire 'said' item.

My question to you, the reader, is... Do you have a website (source) that describes the process for acquiring the Mistbreak gear set? If not. Could you write a brief description for me? Such as- Is it quest/NPC related? If so, -NPC start location (or guesstimate)- Pre-requisites to quest (if any), Quest name(s) (if you can remember any, or a rough estimate of total quests).

Pretty much, I'd be solid if someone pointed in the general direction of my destination. And I'll figure out the rest. Or ask another question if I get halted.

Diadem... it's randomized drops from high level monsters.

IE you are at the whim of RNGesus for a full set. I personally think it's for augmenting your current gear.
ESPECIALLY since you may finally get a piece...and the substats are utter crap. Since it's aetherial gear it's allllll randomized.

Sweet, Does it matter what diffuculty rating I enter the Diadem at? And is it possible to solo farm this gear as a whm?

You can't do it by yourself, you would need at least six, seven, full party.
You can do it any level but gold chests appear more in Hard.

sleepyEdit: The monster's are akin to HW A-ranks and S-ranks...that's why you can't solo them.

I just found the answer to my question, "There are no role requirements when entering as a full party. However, parties with less than 8 players must adhere to the standard composition of 2 tanks, 2 healers, and 4 DPS." Just purchased my first ticket, and now I'm like.. wondering if I should purchase a token to transfer servers. That way I can set up groups/speak with individuals for a change (since I'm currently playing on a J server, and I don't speak J).

*facepalm* I can't do anything as a solo player when it involves end game items that I'm interested in >_<

Well.. solo and endgame don't really go together in an MMO apart from some of the relic grind (or crafting and gathering). Almost everything endgame in mmo's require groups at some point.

Well if you know someone with an FC and an airship, you can go with a minimum of two people...but yeah, if you are on mostly a JP server, you'll wanna learn JP or move to maybe Tonberry (popular JP server with many english speakers) or an NA or EU server...

Ah and yeah... MMO, multi player. I don't particularly like interacting with people, either, but hey you gotta do what you gotta do to play the game.

Yeah, I tried creating my character on Tonberry when I joined FF. However, it was locked because the server was filled up (I was prompted that there was a waiting list on player creations/world transfers). I'm currently filling out a server transfer to move there (as we speak). However, I haven't submitted my application yet because I need to figure out what's going to happen to my items on my retainers (Making sure they don't get deleted).

There's a limit on gil that you can transfer over. Most people will purchase items off the MB to sell on the new server to make their money back or buy the Allegan pieces on the MB so you can sell back to an NPC and make your cash back that way. I don't know if your retainers keep your gil on them when you transfer (I'm almost sure they don't) but I know you won't lose any items.

Er-mah-gawd. I just flipped to Tonberry... Q_Q There are so many english speaking people. And the server is way more populated than carbuncle. I got invited to my first FC... and wow. I can speak/understand people. And there are sooo-ooo many people free roaming. I feel like I'm playing a new game. Q_Q
