Waterfowl feather - shared slot, really??

So I don't know how this is implemented. Apparently the waterfowl feather, unspoiled rare item from Swiftperch botany node, shares his spot with unaspected crystal. I didn't know about this and I find it very unpleasant tbh. Just wasted another hour trying to get the feather but getting the crystal instead, this has happened now twice in a row. I still need the third feather to make a cushion...
You can't rise the yield of this, it's a single drop, and even to make things more challenging aka annoying, it shares his placeholder with the unaspected crystal. GG

After the 6th pop today I give up. I've gotten only one feather, rest all this damned crystal... Still need two more cushions and one guy in my server is selling a full stack of feathers for more than a million gil (the only seller atm) /cry.

It's a little stupid that it's shared yeah, but your Botany retainer can fetch them if you have one levelled up.

It took me a couple of days poking in there just to get one. But now that I've gotten one, I can retainer more as needed. The spawn frequency on the feather is so backwards retainers are more efficient at getting them than actual players.

They may both be random slots, but they never appear at the same time. One shows or the other shows. Just like how most unspoiled nodes will have unaspected crytals or dark matter clusters but never both at the same time.

Every time I've gone to get those feather's I've never had an issue. Use Toll, oh look, feather, collect my one and then call it a day. I've never seen it be shared. It's always a Feather on one node and then the crystals on another.

So no idea why you're having such an issue.

You have to use Toil anyways, I don't understand why you are telling us to use Toil. Both random, only one at a time will appear = shared chance of one of them to appear. So yes, they share slot.

The issue was that it took me 3 days to get 6 feathers. In one day I've gotten only one feather due to the crystal popping in its place instead.
