    Should level caps be removed from....

    Should the level cap, 50, be removed from ARR content like trials, lv50 roulette, CT, and Coil? Keep the ilvl cap in place but remove the level. Reasoning is because the cap locks out HW actions which can be annoying to many jobs.

    It might unbalance some of the content but let's be honest, would it really be huge of a difference that how we treat said content now?

    No, it shouldn't. It will break level 50 content even more than it already is at i110-130. Have you run Wanderer's Palace or Amdapor Keep normal modes recently? It's laughable. Even with the level caps still in place, our new abilities post 50 just add more to our arsenal to clear everything faster.

    People already suggested this for pre-50 dungeons too, wanting all of their skills in low level dungeons. However, the rotation for level 50 breaks the content prior to level 50. A level 15 gladiator in all HQ gear won't be able to keep hate from a DRG doing chaos thrust and full thrust combos with blood for blood active, nor a black mage spamming fire 2 and flare with astral fire III stacks. Or Monk with full greased lightning?

    It certainly won't be as broken as low level dungeons, but there are things that will certainly break even worse than they already are.

    They do need to do something to revitalize CT raids though, those are bloody long queues and I feel for anyone trying to get in them for the first time.

    We already have a way to use level 60 rotations in level 50 and below content. It's called unsyncing.

    The devs are fans of balance, so no, they won't remove the level cap for old content as the default.

    Sub-level 50 content is already horribly imbalanced as it is.

    -Sunken Temple of Qarn is terrible to tank as paladin if your dps actually do decent damage, while warriors and dark knights already have their enmity buffs and can hold enmity without any effort.
    -A marauder with invigorate or a paladin with their 3-hit combo has no trouble speeding through Toto-rak, while a Warrior level synced below 30 has only a 2-hit combo and will quickly tp starve between that and overpower spam.
    -Scholars can't deal with debuffs as efficiently as other classes until level 40.
    -Many high level cross class skills are available for every class EXCEPT the one who is designed to have that skill due to level sync.
    -Access to a wider range of cross class skills, and more total, makes non-job classes more versatile in every dungeon before Haukke Manor.
    -Some classes, such as machinist, gain massive power boosts at specific levels (turrets at 40) which means they've either been underperforming before then, or overperforming immediately thereafter.

    Essentially, the game is only balanced at level 50 and level 60. While a newbie tank would likely suck at holding enmity against pros with more skills if they removed skill level caps, you already have dungeons where a veteran tank has trouble holding enmity while at the peak of what level sync allows.

    In all the times I ran those old dungeons in 2.0 and 3.0, I never seen tanks or other "troubled" classes have any issues unless the player or the party were really bad. Sometimes people go into dungeons with outdated gear or that LV20 accessory in a LV50 dungeon.
