Noob Map Question

So in order to give my coords to a friend, I went to the map and used the L1 + R1, which gave the <flag> command. Now I realize that <pos> exists and is what I should have used, but now there's a red flag on my map I'd like to remove. How do I go about doing that?

If it makes a difference, I'm on a controller.

Usually it goes away when you log off, but I believe if you just do L1 + R1 where the flag is, it'll disappear.
