How hard is Bismark Extreme

I decided to farm this a few months ago as was one of the few cards I still needed. Since PF didn't have much success, probably because there's not really much reason to run this after clearing it once, I had to go with DF.

Despite everyone in i200, people still couldn't meet the dps check. The closest I came to giving up on the card completely was one run, where one guy instsed we just keep spawning the first two trash adds over again and again until we'd built up a ton of echo, as it was the "only" way to meet the dps check... I don't even...

Not very. People are bad but if there's two competent dps with i200 weapons they can usually carry the other two. The biggest source of wipes is tank swaps on the snakes. They can go bad in a lot of ways that may not be anyone's fault directly.

Yeah, the tank swap can be a problem. If fact, that's probably the « hardest » part of the fight. The other wipe source can be the Wind during the Weather phase, if some players didn't notice and are kick out of the fight. But, well, I don't have a great experience of this fight, but that was the two biggest sources of wipe I noticed. And for the farming, people will probably go back to this fight when there will be a pony to get

With the current gear even poor performing players have enough to overcome the dps checks in the fight now. Only people who still seem to struggle are those who just stand there like a deer caught in headlights.

Bismark is not at all hard, but players cannot be asleep because of the dps check. Our group also cleared it the first with of HW. I do agree however with current gear people are overgeared even for it, so should be much of an issue.
If players in ilv 200 gear still cannot meet the dps check, then issue sorry to say is the group and they just need to tighten up/learn rotations better.
RavanaEX is more so a fight that cleared easier with coordination but it does not have a dps check like that of Bismark

I just did it for the first time in a PF learning group the other day. We cleared it on the third or fourth try I think? (Granted I think all or 7/8 of us had seen the video beforehand).

Honestly I thought it was pretty easy. And I'd say our average item level was in the range of 180-190?
We wiped the first time for not downing the adds fast enough.
Second time was because of the dragon DPS check - Some people didn't realize their debuff switched half way through.
Third was a failed tank swap attempt
Last time was due to weather - People assumed it was water weather because it was raining - but it was actually wind.

After that we cleared.


IMO titan is much harder, if only because you really have to memorize everything (especially if you're running like 30fps or less) and the chance of falling off is astronomically higher. Bismark has some memorization, but it's not so intense, and it's harder to fall off. I think even levi Ex was harder than Bis.

It's just communication really you just need everyone to know when a swap is happening and to keep one area clear so nobody gets double stomped by the adds. Usually what happens is people like to collect in the middle instead of spread out so when the tanks try to swap they just take loads of damage from attacks.
