Is Regula Van Hydrus female? Because based both on Latin naming conventions and the few Garlean names we have, Regula should be a feminine name. I don't really have any other evidence besides a gut feeling about the shape of their armor and that their voice sounds 'off' to my ear in a way that other helmeted Garleans haven't, but I really suspect that he's a she!

You probably can't confirm OR deny my suspicions because of spoilers, but it would be awesome to hear a bit about gender roles in Garlemald, and how women in the military are viewed!

Will the next round of savage raid gear be more varied for appearance than the current Gordias gear ie. Brd/NIN and DRG/MNK sharing the same visual textures was a bit of a let down expected something with a bit more variety that exemplified the classes for the effort we put in :3 .

Will we ever hear more on the exact reasons people have forgotten the (identities of the) Warriors of Light (and seemingly the Warriors of Light of their own part in and prior to Cardenau)? Will Echo ever give us further glimpses of the distant past? Will Echo itself ever be further explained?

How far does the English translation vary from the Japanese generally? Stuff like Fate names seems to obviously be referencing English puns and whatnot, but how about main scenario quest titles and NPC names?

We know of a trueborn son, Archombadin de Dzemael who seems to be a Wildwood Elezen and Ser Grinnaux de Dzemael seems to be a trueborn Duskwight. Are these assumptions true? Is House Dzemael mixed Duskwight and Wildwood? Did Count Thieveneux become a widow for a bit or are we mistaken about his trueborn sons' clans?

Sorry, this bothered me and I couldn't resist replying. Grinnaux is dark brown skinned - not grey - which points towards Wildwood. However Jandelaine, the hairstylist, is pale enough to pass for a Duskwight and he also is of House Dzemael.

Just to keep in topic of lore questions (sorry if these have been asked before):
Are only elezens capable of transforming into dragons by drinking their blood or are hyurs and the other races vulnerable to it?

How do the surnames work with elezens, exactly? In Ishgard the nobles are [forename] de [House name], but what about the poor and middle-class? Are they surnameless or are they like the player character just [forename] [surname]?

Are there any plans to add roegadyn/lalafell/au ra children as NPCs? I'm dying to know how a male roegadyn develops. Do they and females start as similar and then in puberty develope into how we know them as? Same with au ra, are they similar height or is the height difference apparent from the start?

Since Alexander is classified as a primal, can it temper? Is it sentinent?

I would like to see us the players be able to achieve higher ranks in the grand companies I mean after all the players do for the grand companies and to save the city states I think they are due for a rank increase why can't they be come up in the ranks like captains and so forth and so on because in the grand company ranking system that goes all the way up to Grand Champion why can not the players work to increase their ranks and with the higher ranks give new perks new gear so forth and so on I I for one think that they should at least be bumped up to Marshall because they did save the general restore the Sultana and constantly saving them from Primals and that's all they get is a lousy rank of second lieutenant I think the general and the leaders of the other grand company should be more appreciative and give them a little higher ranks in the grand company

You do know that Ser Grinnaux of The Heavens' Ward uses the Duskwight model correct?
