Also will there be any tweaks to how Astros work?
Also will there be any tweaks to how Astros work?
Are you considering full support roles or healer/support like astrologian for classes you may include in the future?

I asked it before but didnt had any answer ~_~
Any plans to add some Primal fates? Like the Ifrit we saw in ARR Benchmark and Odin?
How to never miss.
You guys are asking some pretty lore-heavy questions that will likely be answered in coming patches and would be major spoilers.
Given that the Crystal Tower was such a huge hit, is there any chance we will see future raids being remastered versions of final dungeons from other FF games moving forward? Personally, I would like to see if the next tier of Void Ark is "Jade Passage", and culminating finally in "Castle Pandaemonium". From the ending of VA, it looks like we will foray into the world which the Void inhabit, and fight their royalty. Castle Pandaemonium was the castle of hell in FF2, with Jade Passage being the cavern which led to it. It would be awesome if this would happen.
I also would love to see Chaos Temple being added from FF1, and maybe Omega Ruins from FF10 (other FF endgame areas might be a bit weird to fit)
Why does Alexander 3 (savage) drainage tethers passes/works differently as other tether such as T13?
If i am not wrong A3S tether relys on server tick which may not pass evey when a tank run pass it. T13 never had this issue.
At the end of the Crystal Tower storyline Nero throws his device he used to pick up energy of darkness into the abyss below the Crystal Tower caused by the Fourth Umbral Calamity(?), I believe.
Will we ever learn of Nero's fate after his departure and meet up with him again as a foe, ally or will he follow-up with the main scenario or other activities at all and most importantly will we ever find out what caused the pulse on his device after it was thrown into the abyss?
This IS the correct thread for all questions related to the LftPL, lore and gameplay. The link for this thread is in the LftPL announcement and specifically states to ask questions for the LftPL, not just for Koji. You guys do realize that most of your questions posted are completely irrelevant to what they will be discussing? The guy is in charge of LORE, not game mechanics and whatnot.
Spoilerish Question:
After Bahamut Prime is defeated, it is assumed that Bahamut's regenerating body is dispersed into aether so he can finally rest in peace. Does this mean that Bahamut may once again be resurrected as a Primal in a future patch, should we ever step foot in Meracydia?
P.S. not really so much a question, just wanted to say even with teh complaints of end game getting a bit stale, I still LOVE Heavensward. Great job FFXIV team!
Egi glamour, eggggiiii glaaaaaamour EEEEGGGIIII GGGLLLLAAAMMMOOOUUUURRRR!!!!!!
Please please please. and maybe a new mch turret too :-D
Nah bruh it says
"In this thread we'd like you to pose questions for Localization Lead, Michael-Christopher Koji Fox.
Please forward questions on the game localization (lore, quest-related texts, naming of NPCs/gears/monsters, etc.) and also general questions about him in person."
The lodestone page doesn't say "and the PLL will include a Q&A for Yoshi-P" it says it's got a Q&A for Koji Fox.
Besides all that, it looks like they have already finished selecting what they're gonna answer perGreetings, everyone!
Thanks for the large amount of questions we've received so far. I'm sure Koji is looking forward to them and is probably already thinking about answers to some of these!
As a reminder, this thread is only for questions related to the game localization (lore, quest-related text, naming of NPC/gear/monsters, etc.) and Koji himself! We won't be picking up questions from here that aren't related to the topic. I appreciate your cooperation!
Greetings!
First off, I would like to extend a personal thank you to everyone who took the time to post a PLL question for me. I understand that recently I haven't been as active on the forums as was the case in the past, and for that I apologize. While work on FINAL FANTASY XIV remains my main focus, as one of the senior members of the entire Square Enix Localization department, I am also expected to handle countless other tasks ranging from the mundane...to the extremely mundane. These other tasks have been sapping most of my free time--time I usually employ to scour the Lodestone forums for questions I can field.
The good news is, things have begun to calm down somewhat. This means that I can hopefully set aside a few moments to address some of the questions that have been burning in your minds. This PLL is one such opportunity, and it's looking like I will be able to answer about 10-15 of the questions posted to the forums. The thing is, there were far more than 10-15 questions posed, and a lot of those were just as good as the ones we selected for answering. So, what I'm going to do is...
1) As the PLL will be held in Japanese, I'll aim to have an English recap of my portion of the PLL up as soon as possible--hopefully by the following Sunday evening (PST).
2) The week or so after the PLL, I'll try to address questions (a few at a time) that weren't chosen for the show by posting my replies here on the forums.
We're currently in the middle of patch 3.2 translation, so it may take a while for me to get to the majority of the queries, but I want to field as many as possible, be it lore questions or localization questions...or even that question I got on the JP forums about my favorite ramen. (It's miso+butter, by the way)
Until then!
