So, the localization of FFXIV contains loads, and loads, and loads, and LOADS of popular culture references. Star Trek, Star Wars, Space Balls, Monty Python, Mad Max, Skyrim, Metal Gear, Sherlock Holmes, Game of Thrones, and many, many more, to name just a few!

So my question is, how are these numerous references selected and applied? Does the original Japanese contain similar references? Are the references made the same internationally, or is it like the gag at the start of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, with the references tooled to suit particular locales?

VOICE ACTORS: So, recall that Heavensward had a completely different set of voice actors from ARR. What is the reasoning behind completely changing the cast? There are a lot of players who prefer the original VAs.

Given that Idyllshire was co-founded with the Goblins it seems like it'd be a pretty open and friendly place to the Beast Tribes in general. Any chance we can see some Gnath start a restaurant or some Mamool'ja open-up a bathhouse there?

There is lack of lore for the Au ra race , hardly any NPCs even (can only think of DRK quest giver "Sidurgu"), is this intend cause they can't fit atm , the other mention was in the WHM story quest with npc "Alaqa" would love to hear more about Au ra race.
and would love to hear more about the witch (Alaqa) and what happens to her.

When did the Keeper of the Moon Miqo'te come over to Eorzea? We know that Seekers of the Sun arrived in the Fifth Astral Era but did the Keepers migrate at the same time? Given that their linages date back to the First Astral Era have they really been in Eorzea that long or do the other continents also date their history by the Astral/Umbral Eras?

Ooh, while we're on about races that don't get enough lore - are we ever going to hear more about Gelmora? What about Duskwrights who wound up in Isghard? (Why does House Dzemael like building stuff in caves so much?)

In Heavensward we learned how a person with Echo could act as a host for a primal, like Lady Iceheart, does this mean the way we understand primal summoning and control is gonna change? Everyone says summoning a primal is damaging for Hydaelyn as they drain aether, but the summoning itself require energy in form of crystals, which is not actually "draining" but already consuming what is already there in a solid form.

Does this mean lorewise Free Companies that are lucky to have persons with echo will be able to summon and control primals to use as FC summons, and since the primal would be under control, it will not consume anymore aether from Hydaelyn herself but only from the crystals offered in the summoning?

When we first got the hunts we got the hunt masters to give us a bit of lore on each of the hunts but when hw rolled around there was no lore for the monsters. Any chance we could see some lore on the hunts?
