Character Tails

So I finally got my chocobo to rank 10 which means I get my cool chocobo suit which I was REALLY excited about but my tail shows on it and it doesn't look good at all


So right away you might be thinking, "Well tails are kind of a defining feature for Au Ra
and Miqo'te so too bad." And you know there's a lot of truth to that but...



....my tail doesn't show on the ghost costume I have, so having it hidden on other gear shouldn't be a big deal.
My suggestion is for there to be some sort of tail toggle for Miqo'te and Au Ra races or to just have the tail hidden on more gear where it's appropriate. For the tail toggle it might be odd to see an Au Ra with revealing clothes but no tail so perhaps it could be like the visor option where it only works on applicable gear? Is this a plausible feature?

I know why people want this, but personally I disagree. The tail doesn't show on the ghost costume precisely because it's so voluminous, so it makes sense. For anything remotely fitted, it seems ridiculous.

But, I agree it would be nice if for gimmicky costumes like the chocobo/moogle/reindeer suits we could hide them, but for actual gear, I don't like the idea myself.

Your tail is under the white sheet on the ghost outfit where on the chocobo suit it is fitted, no room for your tail in the suit. Makes sense.

From a certain perspective, the tail almost looks like a piece of poop coming out of the chocobo suit.

I think they said they were gonna hide them on outfits like that in the future but that they weren't going to go and change the old gear to hide it (like the chocobo costume) I don't remember word for word but I think it was along those lines.. That tail sticking out looks awful.

do people not see how plump those chicken legs are? its entirely possible to just tuck the tail in, its not skin tight its a puffy chocobo
i mean back in the days when emos were prevalent, those emo guys managed to tuck they're junk into super duper skinny jeans so even if it were a skintight suit i think it could still work

Great and how exactly do you plan on walking like that? Tails are 100% needed for locomotion, balance, and well-being of the tailed races.

Just remove the Chocobo tail and replace it with a sock for the character tail like they did with another body gear.
