Changes to disk space requirements

Space required before Patch 3.2 > Space required after Patch 3.2

Windows: 20GB > 30GB
Mac: 20GB > 30GB
PlayStation®3: 12GB > 20GB
PlayStation®4: 40GB > 50GB

Likely not much of an issue for a PC user, but I wonder how many PS3/PS4 users will be caught out?

It also makes me a little excited for all the changes and additions

Has been stated before in other threads... this is only a change in the base requirement for a clean install. This is not an indication of the patch size, simply if you purchase and install ARR you will need to have 10GB more space free to accommodate the data from patches 2.1 to 3.2.

Geez, why does the PS4 space is higher than the PC? Don't have a PS4 yet.

I believe its for the Ishgardian apartments that can hole up to 100 players in each ward (or something like that) PS4 probably needs an overhaul for some reason I don't even know. I'm no techy :/

Basically, the game has reached the maximum required space advertised. They now need to increase it just to cover their asses, that's all. It is no indication whether patch 3.2 will be 10gb or not. What is clear is that patch 3.2 will make the game size go over the previous advertised 20gb. Hence, you won't be able to play the game anymore if you only set aside 20gb for the game.

The assets are probably less compressed on PS4 to allow for faster load times and less CPU usage.

It doesn't really affect me since I have an overabundance of space on both my PC and PS4, but it does raise curiousity about how far they're already pushing the PS3 just to keep up at this point.
