No its not. You're wrong.Without a dev clarification on it, it's a matter of interpretation. the extension I figured was because of the free trial period and allowed extra time because no one had paid during the initial 3 months to get in on the promotion, but that it would be permanent if when it ended you were still paying for both, as long as you paid for both.
I may be naive in thinking this but that's how I interpreted the whole thing. A permanent promotion that was extended due to the free trial extensions. Then becoming irrelevant when the free trial was extended until further notice, thus not allowing the promotion to take effect in the first place.
