How does PLD compare then, with clemency on pure STR accessories?

The self heal from clemency is not near as good and the cast takes my PLD co-tank about 8 sec. But it's kept him alive a few times when shit goes down.
Also, WARs will bite incessantly like a school of piranhas to discuss how they are better than DRK or PLD. Don't let that discourage you from maining DRK however. WARs are fotm right now, and a dime a dozen. Good DRKs that fully grasp the job and how to maximize it are hard to find however, and in high demand particularly as MTs.

I see you're getting some use out of Salted Earth lolAlso, WARs will bite incessantly like a school of piranhas to discuss how they are better than DRK or PLD. The title of the thread has "DRK vs WAR" in it, I'm just the guy trying to speak for the other side. Not gonna apologize for that.
If anything this thread kind of illustrates my point. Its already almost 2 pages of people hyping WARl my message to the OP was pretty clear, and that's that good, dedicated DRKs are rare and it'd be saddening to see another one swept up on the WAR train.
Warrior has more self heals and can sustain itself better. To the point it could probably Holmgang and come back from death's door. Without the need of a healer. Yeah Dark Knight has Abyssal Drain but it utterly relies on being surrounded by enemies both for healing and regaining MP. And pretty much requires a healer if it needs to press the oh crap button to save itself.
It's a shame Blood Weapon doesn't give the DRK HP as well as MP. Wouldn't mind splitting the MP gain for HP as well. Bloodbath is usually on cooldown for a little bit before it is backup for a pseudo lifesteal.
I can't stomach playing Warrior however. Probably because in comparison to the other 2 tanks it's just leagues better. I always feel like I'm playing hardball with my DRK but everything is a breeze as a Warrior.

As a Main War, i can't say the war is OP and all blah blah, i guess i am tired from the hate and the hype War get since 3.0, so many players is toxic about war atm...
It's like war have nothing to say because war is so OP and so strong, it's certainly better to hear a clue from those damn War.
It's a bad thing, a war is not a bad player because he is playing a war...
But i still give a clue anyway : play the tank you love.
All the 3 tanks is interesting to play, and even if i point : war selfheal is better than dark one, dark is fun to play and nervous to play so many oGCD goodness and he is a good MT, and what is OP today will maybe not be OP anymore tomorow.
when you choose a main, it's certainly to choose the Job more appealing for you.
There will be some change on 3.2 and i hope this will shut : the war OP thing, for the balance sake and also for the war sake and dk/pld as well.

They should of made Paladin stronger and made Dark Knight the lifetap dot tank.
in other wordThe title of the thread has "DRK vs WAR" in it, I'm just the guy trying to speak for the other side. Not gonna apologize for that.

warrior is better self healing tank but you're just to much of a fanboy too actually admit it
but hey i am an obsessed drk fanboy that hates warrior with guts just because they are more well designed than the other.
so let me just make a wall of china long comment to make it way more complicated than it actually is

Or..."Yes, WAR is better at self-healing but if you like DRK, keep playing DRK because you'll have much more fun playing a job you love, and parties really need good DRKs, too"
