Ideas for downtime?

I was wondering in general what do you guys all do if your game time has run out and you end up having to wait with adding more? (I am in that situation right now, but only cause New Years has been slowing down payments o-o though soon I CAN play again thankfully)

Now my general question is how do you all get through that time? I been offline now for merely 2 days and I notice nothing keeps me entertained o.o What do you all do to stay part and active with the community so you don't miss the game to much?

Addicted? Perhaps. But hey can you fault me? FFXIV is best game ever!

My downtime consists of chatting with friends. There's really not much you can do unfortunately.
I tend to find other games to play, and stay logged on in case someone needs help. I mean, once you get your daily tasks/weekly tasks out of the way what is there really to do?
Leveling/Crafting is always something you can do but once you're capped what else is there?
I personally like to check out party finder, see if anyone needs help and just run from there.

It's hard to be involve unless you are already apart of a LS, or a FC that talks a lot. For the more daunting tasks (relic) I tend to keep with a talkative group and go from there.
Sometimes its nice to know those people that type and type and don't know when to stop. haha

My apologies for late reply and thanks but I meant downtime downtime as I mentioned in my post. I couldn't play the game at all. Only recently added subscription again cause I finally could. (did add 180 days right away x3 )

I'm automatically getting billed every month so I never experience something like what you described. My downtime only happens when servers go down for maintenance^^
What I usually do is sleep, lurk on the forums, watch variety shows and read webtoons. Or, occasionally, I actually work x)

Lol well not everyone can always do that. I am one of those. It really depends on bills and payments and if I get unexpected high ones or not. So ye...
