Constant 90002 and 90001 Errors.

More often than not, I receive 90002 errors. Generally this occurs during the day (I am USA, EST), so anywhere from 10 am till 5 pm. Usually, later in the night, like 9 or 10 pm, I do not have the issue. Tonight, it has been happening anyway and I had my first death in Heavensward (boooooo).

I have turned off firewalls, disabled and killed virus scanner. Looked into port forwarding and made exceptions for the game. I am willing to do anything to fix the problem.

I started playing back in beta and left after Twintania, then came back around a year ago for a week, and just came back to get the xpac. I really want to play. So any information you guys need, please let me know so I can help you guys help me. Thanks!

Therre is currently a massive winterstorm moveing into the east so getting the same problems you are due to storms interference.

I am in georgia. And this has been happening every day for the last 10 days. I have been kicked 6 times in the last 10 mins. Was able to play for an hour earlier, now I get kicked 90002, and then the same as soon as I log back on.

Which brought me back here to see if there were any updates... but I guess not. Do tech people actually read these and reply? Or is there another route I should be taking?

So I just beat Bismark and I can't move on because the cutscene after is so long, I keep getting disconnected lol. Been 5 times so far. I really do not want to find another game to play :'(

I am getting very sick of the 90k crashes, FFXIV is the only game that does it, its been going on far too long and needs to be fixed, this should not be an issue if we are paying money for a subscription.

FFXI don't drop like this and it runs on a 56k connection no excuses, its not none of our internet, why do we have to clear cache to even get to our characters or even log in.

Fix this already this seriously has really gone on too long figure out this issue please.

You know its true and everyone else does also, any other MMO or game does not have this problem and the more you avoid it people are going to just get fed up.

This is frustrating when you are doing something then you get 90k and then booted out of a pvp or dungeon and you get nothing for it and I wasted all my time doing the dungeon thanks for nothing.

Yeah I was really hoping for some type of response, even if it is a list of things for me to try on my end. But hearing nothing at all is kinda... discouraging. I just bought the xpac after not playing for months. Was really looking forward to playing again. I am slowly making it through story and leveling with this, but I will not be able to raid or group reliably like this, and raiding is my whole reason for playing.

Someone was blaming the ISP, It cannot be the ISP if other games don't do this type of thing, even I myself have reset my router, called up my internet company asked them they say thing same thing no its on their end.

I clear cache, you'd think this issue would of been gone from 2013 but its still here and its 2016, while everyone by that time would of stopped saying its the ISP because they've tried their firewall and every other option.

I don't know if SE is avoiding the issue but considering they locked the thread after I brought that up, nothing against SE I am not attacking them but damn this problem has gone long enough time to figure something out.

WoW, free MMO's, FFXI on a 56k connection, online games with added online don't do these things just FFXIV arr the online infrastructure needs a rebulld or something cause whatever it is its causing me to get very mad.

Reasons.

Wait for dungeon for 1 hour only to 90k right almost near the boss, try to get back on but find you are back in town, so you wasted a hour and hands are tired from killing monsters to even flag up again.

Same for PVP, you get in for daily, you are doing frontline your team is losing or winning and you just want your points well too bad 90k, well all the time you spent fighting for nothing cause your in town again.

if this happened rarely I wouldn't be so upset, though its been going on for a since the start and its chipping away at me. I best not get temp banned for pointing out the obvious.

Yeah, I am not trying to point fingers at all. I just want some type of possible solutions. Something I can try to work on to troubleshoot it myself.

I have checked router, done port forwarding. Not sure what else I can try? On the other side of things, it can't be all SE's fault since I am sure there are hundreds who play without any issues at all. I just wish I could figure out what is causing the probem.

I myself have been experiencing this for DAYS now. I can't even get online for two demon ds without being booted off.
Fix this crap, SE!

I highly think it's something with the update for the PS4 and FFXIV not wanting to connect to one another. Either way it's annoying as all heck.

I've been finding this issue as well. Generally it happens i the early early morning for a few hours where I tend to get 90ked. and funny enough. Generally around the same times. This tends to happen only if I'm in the housing district servers too I find.

I recall when latency issues like this hit its often because a pathway from your connection to the server is congested making for lock ups and such.

I just know its been frustratingly happening for the last week to week and a half now with it only ever happening on the housing districts.

I do hope this gets resolved sooner. I'm a night owl and would love for my play time to be more smooth.
