Does anyone else get bummed out at night?

Night and day is split evenly by Eorzean time every time at 6pm/am. I honestly am backwards i think the moon is way too bright but now that i see this thread it might just be my settings cause honestly i like the night i mean come on wheres your sense of adventure

I wish there was more ambient lighting at night so that it could be dark without feeling so dark. I also wish the day/night cycle was a 24 hour one, that operated off the server time.

I also wish i could change the weather so it's not raining literally wherever i go. It's starting to bum me out.

This is just my observation, but I think the idea that night is longer than day within the game is because different times of the day have a differing amount of illumination while night time's lighting is consistently the same. Since the phases of the moon play no part in night-time illumination, it remains the same for it's entire duration.

yeah daytime + rain = less illumination , same goes for fog or any other climatic effect , even cloudy

It's the exact opposite for me. I love the night more than the day, the music is also way better at night and the stars in the sky are super pretty.

Daytime makes me super lazy though...

My only issue with nighttime is that it has to go to daytime. I love the nights in this game.

Arboretum is beautiful at night time/nighttime.
