I know I can explain the issue to them perfectly, the question is.. will they actually do what is required of them? Which is either a) take down the firewall that was put up a week ago at EMIX or b) re-routing the path from Etisalat servers to FFXIV NA Data Centre to bypass the firewall at EMIX.

Xeino, thanks for the follow up. While i understand the cause that you explained makes perfect sense, my question is why did it happen after Sony Computer Entertainment did the maintenance (link)? Or was it just a coincidence? Or perhaps Sony did some changes to the traceroutes which made etisalat/EMIX go secured?
