Wow u CLEARLY need glasses, bc femroes can have the most beautiful faces in the entire game imo - the difference between roegadames and the others (except the Elezen)? They look like mature women not like cutesy teens

When I customized my first FFXIV character I was new to this game and didn't realize that my chosen kitty race was so popular because I hadn't even logged in yet... I think it's a bit unfair to assume that people are kitties because they are "sheeple," and just following the crowd.

In real life I love animals in general but am especially very much a cat person. I had 3 up until recently when I had to put a little female down because she became severely ill and it was not treatable. She was an adorable creature with dwarf legs, a bunny tail and a very gentle nature!



I was thinking of her when I chose the cat race to play.

Futhermore, I did play around with au ra, hyur and roe in the character customization screens but I couldn't find a combination of presets among any of their sub races that really spoke to me.

It's okay if my personal preference is aligned with that of the majority. I would rather be true to myself than unhappily, "unique" for the sake of uniqueness alone.

I didn't make this thread to start a debate on the best race, I just commented on how there aren't any Roe on my world, least not females. Kinda sad about it. We're not ugly, we got a lot of potential to be pretty/lovely just have to work the controls a bit when creating.

I played a Hume and Elvaan in XI and didn't want to play a Roegadyn or race I played in XI and I liked Miqo'te more then lalafells so that how I choose my character. I also created my character back in 1.0 when everyone was leaving instead of coming.

I really want to play one too. But this is the exact reason I'm hesitant. Glad someone else understands.

Still waiting on a better skin tone for roes. I've toyed with the idea of making an Elezen. My girlfriends Elezen looks amazing, she's always getting compliments. I do love my highlander though.

Have you checked hellsguard? You can get pretty decent human-skin colour with them. Although, if you don't like the black-tipped nose then you're out of luck. Dx

Yeah I can get some screenshots later. I've been meaning to upload some anyway. Also sadly I cannot get over the black dog noses that the hellsguard have :/
