Is it normal to have laggy shadws like this?

Been wondering a long while about this.. Is it normal to have laggy shadws like this? I run around and do stuff to compare the overall fluidness, with the "low fps" of the shadows:

Is there a way to fix this?

    GTX 760
    Core i5 4670K
    16 GB RAM

    Fullscreen windowed
    1080p
    All settings maxed out

    60-70 fps normally

It's just the shadow of the trees and bushes around you which are moving with the stance of the sun.

Literally just the opposite. It's the sun moving 'cause Eorzean time flows a bit faster than on Earth you see, not the trees.

Don't think you can do anything to fix it, the light source (sun) isn't moving smoothly and the shadows are dynamic.

Sadly the lighting doesn't update every frame, but rather every tick for in-game time. It makes the shadows jittery
