There are actually very few different ways to play while still playing well. And, yes, some people will kick you if you're only doing a third of the work (or rather, product) of the others. That much is simply fact.

Others will also attempt to help you close that gap instead. That much is rather lucky.

You can keep playing how you feel is fun, and being kicked on occasion, or you can enjoy the learning and mastering processes, and whatever advice pertinent to those that come along. Someone else is putting in effort to help; you can always say "that's enough for now", but it's not like they're ever going out of their way to ruin your gaming. Usually, they just figure they can get you a lot closer to par even if with just a few bits of advice given, so that the run can go at a closer to normal speed, so they can go on enjoying their game. Can't really blame them just for that.
