Low Level BLM : Use transpose once you burn out and then Blizzard 1 or maybe throw a thunder out while MP regens to full then transpose again to start out with AF1 and fire away again.

High level BLM: If Fire 3 and Bliz 3 are available you can start with Bliz 3 go to Fire 3 throw out Fire 1's then Bliz 3 and usually throw out a Thunder 2 before casting Fire 3 into Fire 1 Spam again. If you have only 2 stacks of orbs then T1 would suffice.

BLM is eh at low levels but gets better at higher levels with more stacks of orbs.

If not, the thread is a valid argument on why we need some form of parser in the game.

Unless you are for real...Fire-Blizzard-Fire-Blizzard....if thats seriously the way you've been DPSing...I'll let you know that your DPS would be higher if you just sat there and spammed Blizzard.

The OP is a level 24 THAUMATURGE hence no JOB and no very strong spells yet. Once they hit level 34 for Fire 3, and 38 for Blizz 3 THAT's when the fun starts. Until then its Fire 1, Blizz 1 and transpose TYVM... with Thunder 1 and 2. Fire 2 and Blizz 2 are AoE's

I believe people, including myself are well aware of his level. Not that it has much to do with the conversation. You may have noticed, I'm not to sure though, since you seem to think finding out he is level 24 in that job is worth a bold and colored font, that he has more classes than that. What does his being level 24 have to do with reading tool tips? He has been slapping people in the face repeatedly with his 20+ years experience, which should cover that.

This issue is totally the way he views the game, look at his comments, do you really think his poor play is limited to THM. Another issue is that he seems to think anyone who tells him he is not playing the class well is a bully and an idiot who is unable to think and come up with their own rotations. He is low level, but he is still playing quite sub par for that level and aggressive about it.

He brought up what he called a community issue, when really people with his outlook are one of the issues with the community.

I'm sorry but as a BLM lover I have to disagree if you are letting your mp only drop to half you are doing no real dps....if you have bliz III you don't really need to use transpose at all unless you over extend and don't have enough mp for bliz III...and wait for your mp to refresh in seconds like cast one thunder I while you wait then rinse and repeat...at 60 you will be deemed as a awful player cause most of the Enochian rotations will have you bottoming out of mp for just enough to cast bliz III and into Bliz IV....there is nothing wrong with playing your way but expect to get kicked a lot cause you are playing way below the standard imo sorry

This isn't a console game where you are playing by yourself and what you are do has no bearing on anyone else. Wasting people's time playing poorly because it's fun for you isn't cool. I am not sure the extent of what you are or aren't doing, so this may or may not apply to you. The jobs are generally set up with a set rotation or right way to do the most damage. Not understanding it, or learning it, or trying and messing up is totally cool. Not doing it on purpose is like tossing your middle finger up to your teammates.
