Housing Functions Are Currently Locked!

Hello,
I'm on Jenova, and trying to buy a house in mist ward 8. I watched the house disappear upon reclamation, but when I attempted to purchase the lot I was and am still given the "Unable to execute command. Housing functions are currently locked." message. This has been going on for hours. I heard rumors that Jenova was the only world effected. Does anyone have any updates on this? Is SE working on fixing this issue? Thanks for your help!

Yes I have been sitting here on jenova for the last 9 hours and nothing. Square has not released anything about what is going on and when we can expect to be fixed. I do believe is only Jenova as I have seen no other threads posted.

Hour 12 and we're all still waiting - a lot of people on Jenova waiting by plots hoping this error is resolved. We spent most of Christmas waiting for the plots and are barely awake clicking the placards repeatedly. Please give us a hand, faithful Square team!

It's been an issue since maintenance was lifted, so some people have been waiting for nearly a day now. A lot of people are getting antsy and getting a bit crazy with insults and the likes. It's been crazy at the lavender beds. Good luck to all those who are also waiting.

Who knew people would be camping out houses like they do the proto-ultima fate :P

Also here on Jenova been waiting for about 13 hours. It would be swell to get an update so I know if I should continue to wait for a fix that could happen any moment or if I should just go to sleep cause its going to take a patch. Please give some snippet of news.

we waited months for this. like watching the giants not make the playoffs. why se? why did u not just make new housing areas? jenova server is getting angry and the community is at each others throats. congradulations for letting us rot here.
