Savage really screwed up server populations, I know so many people who left the server for greener pastures in Gilgamesh and other larger servers. I think some of the smaller servers could stand to merge together tbh. Addy isn't even in the bottom 15 for population and it feels pretty dead, I can't even imagine the lesser populated ones.

2,200 people at 60... Damn.

Funny thing is, I'd bet a lot of those who bail don't do any better (raid wise) on larger servers because they just aren't up to par. I know several people on larger servers who have complained that the quality has gone downhill because of these people. Too many thinking they're better than they are, even if they're the reason the group is failing. A lot of people also just give up too fast, or would rather complain than try; look at the Relic. I got my first done in what, less than 2 weeks, and have about 1/4 tokens for another on both my main AND alt, but I'm not trying at all for either of these (needed my Axe cause A4S sucks).
I'm doing a lot of gathering and leveling and PvPing to pass the time (waiting to get the crafting bug again, and get all of them to 60, but it still hasn't happened). Problem is there isn't enough new content to do AND that Diadem was a failure. This problem was also present in 2.1, once all the good people got their Primal weapons and Coil clears out of the way; didn't seem as bad with leveling taking so long and LoTA being a complete pain to get gear from (I ran that several times each week, every week, because it was so stupid)


As for 3.1 completion...there was nothing required by it. No trial, dungeon, whatever. So a lot of people haven't done it (I haven't done it on my alt yet, for example, and I always do the MSQ fast on him. Hell, he's even cleared A2S several times, and can definitely clear A3S if I could find a group to sub in for one week). Once 3.2 gets closer that number will go up since 3.2 does have stuff locked behind the story.

I've been playing for almost every day but I haven't done the 3.1 MSQ either, and know others who haven't, too. I see a lot of players progressing to 60 though.

Not really surprising; there was no story locked dungeon/primal in 3.1. 3.2 will likely be different as there will be a new story locked dungeon.

yep, we're really small, its full of casuals and ppl there to socialize n what not. That clear was done by Zalera's finest and we had a huge party in Limsa when word spread of the clear. That's how small our server is. Word gets around fast.

These stats are not worldwide, they don't include the Chinese or Korean "subscribers".
