Where in the world!? Is Red Mage Job?

So I keep reading a ton of speculations. From youtube to duty finder and reddit. People demand Red Mage and I agree it would be great to see.

But I have been searching myself and went watch back some of the previous Live Letters... Where the hell people pull out their informations from? Rumours keep saying it will be with the next expansion of the game.

I heard people saying it will be healer. Some said it will be a Rapier DPS. Some says it will be a black mage type with party wide support. Is it possible to get this sorted out?

The only official confirmation we have ever had is that Yoshi-P would like it to be in game. It has never been confirmed to be coming at amytime in this games life. Theread was an event last year in summer which was to celebrate the second year of FFXIV since 2.0 launched. In it, we got hints about Bluemage and Redmage. Anything you hear about how they will play or what role it will fill is pure speculation from the community.

Where did Yoshi spoke of this? This what I'd like to know. Because you say like anyone else. "Yoshi mentioned about it." But nobody is able to provide anything about it. And frankly I am not sure of which event you speak, so if this was possible to know more, it would he fun.

You tell me how to fit RDM into the trinity formula and doesn't step on the toes of the current mages. Also Red Mage should stay true to the franchise and not just XI. We might be able to talk about RDM after that.

These screenshots... So they're teaser. May or may not happen. If they do it I just up they don't wait 10 years too late like WoW did with the Demon Hunter. Because I know a lot of people who do not play it anymore!

But making up stuff is not nice! People need to make those fake Yoshi Statement!

All I know is if they don't announce Red or Sam, they are going to have quite the angry group on their hands. Personally I won't mind but we see how testy some people can be just over simple debates.

It was teased on the game, but it was only done that way to show us that Yosi P. and the Dev. are aware of the forums and the desire for these two iconic classes.
