Private rooms and being kicked from an FC

I know it has been stated that you won't be able to leave an FC if you have a private room, but I wonder what provisions will be in place if someone gets kicked out of an FC.

This gives us two potential scenarios:

1) Since the private rooms are non-refundable, a rogue officer or FC master can steal hard earned money and crafted furniture

2) If you can't leave an FC without removing your room, can you no longer be kicked? Is there is an avenue for removing people you no longer want in your FC?

It would be nice to get clarification on what will actually happen in this situation and what measures are in place to prevent abuse.

I also wonder what provisions will be in place if an FC decides to abandon their plot to move to a larger plot, will private rooms transfer? will you only be able to abandon a plot if nobody has private rooms, and if you can't boot someone with a private room, will you be forever locked to a small estate when the FC wants to move to a medium/large?

If I had to guess, if presented with enough evidence, the fc leader can report to a gm and explain the situation and the gm can remove/undo the damage done by the rouge officer and punish him accordingly.

Or they could play the "it's your fault, why did you trust them in the first place?" Card. I honestly hope it's the first one...

This is an important question, and it would be nice to know that FC masters can still kick abusive players who have invested in a room in the FC house...

Square-Enix wouldn't be able to spin it that way without being at risk for being sued if someone had a member of their FC who was being abusive towards other members of the FC and that FC member couldn't be kicked because of this new policy and the GM's weren't being cooperative.

I'm guessing or at least hoping that new options will op up to the FC master / players with a rank that lets them switch things up. And my guess this option will let you pick what ppl and want rank can use the Private rooms i at least hope its like this

I also don't care for the lack of details on this. I also do not like the fact that you put out 300k on a room that was supposed to be free in the first place and that if you leave the FC you don't get your Gil or at least half of it back or at least be able to move it to a new FC.

It's not just the 300k gil (which to be honest is easy to make in less than a week, even if you don't play the Marketboard) but would you lose the unremovable furniture and fittings which may be worth more than the gil.

Too many questions, too much vague information. Unlesss the "you can't leave the FC" means you can't be kicked either. Which would open another can of trouble.

There was another thread on this as well, and we never got an answer so I'll move my post over here. Maybe this time they will answer.


If someone has a room with items in it, can they still get kicked from a FC if they are causing problems, or will they have to clear out the room first?

• If they can't be kicked without clearing out the room and they refuse can they be reported and will the GM's actually do something?
• If they can be kicked without clearing out the room what happens to the room and the items?
• If they move to a new FC will they auto get a new room since it's already paid for or will they have to spend another 300k?

Please respond~! I'm just curious because this could change the way leaders accept new players into their FC's.
