I found the Vanu Vanu dailies to be the most disappointing... Most of them didn't even really involve much of anything (lots of "Go get my dinner" quests), and I left none the wiser as to what the antagonistic tribes motivation was...

With the Amalj'aa, you got a good sense of the honor they'd traded in when they summoned Ifrit. The Sylphs directly tell you what they think of Gridania with the quests where you have to un-glamour them (and promptly murder them...). Novv was absolutely amazing, and even the Kobold quests painted a good enough picture of the ridiculous society they have going on.

Ixali were much the same as Vanu Vanu though, but their quests gets bonus points for the Azys Lla connection, still I don't know anything more about the Ixali in general from those quests... Vanu Vanu at least gave us another look at their culture I guess, but I still have no real clue about the Vanu Vanu in general... They're fat and greedy I guess? Kind of disappointing if that's it, I'd have liked to learn more about the Vundu, but instead got nothing.

Got a bit more hope for the Gnath though, since with the One Mind they can hopefully touch upon such wonderful topics as free will and individuality. Going to be pretty peeved if instead we just have quests helping them try out different types of fruit or something... I'd hope the main conflict from their quests stems from within, with them all having lots of disagreements as a result of their new found individuality.

You KNOW we are going to help them try different kinds of food. Personal taste is also a form of individuality so there is a big chance we will be helping at least one Gnath get his hands on every single type of edible (and not so edible) matter in the forelands.

I actually WISH for the duo from the leveling quests to make an appearance again
Those two who were always arguing wether fruits or meat was tastier.

Would be interesting if all of the quests touch on a different aspects of individuality.

Personally, I thought the worst part of the Vanu quests was the vendor rewards. For as long as it took to get to max rank, there wasn't a lot of items available from the vendor NPC.
