Disagree: If you're a BLM you should be up on Crit and Spell Speed. Forget ACC. BiS requires a couple of pieces of PVP gear. None the less, being that gear is synced to 150 anyhow, I default back to the PVP abilities as being one of the biggest problems coupled with the lack of PVP attribute points being spent. I think SE needs to do a better job of introducing people to PVP since it's a relative shadow to most. Either because they got rekt their first few times and never picked it up again or it's overly confusing for most, which if that's the case, then why are they even pvping in the first place.... oh that's right, LORE..... >.>

It's because of the i150 level sync that any of that PvP gear you get will be shit compared to anything you meld outside of PvP. You'd be better off just using gear post-i150 and melding the appropriate materia to it and have a PvP setup VS a PvE setup. PvP gear hasn't been relevant in a loooooooooooooooooooooong time, man. If you come into The Feast wearing any of the PvP gear, people are probably going to laugh at your ass, ask you what you're doing, and probably call you a noob.

Again though, blame SE for introducing gear to this mode which is about as useful as a wet paper bag though. If it was more viable, I'd be right there agreeing with you, but it's not and until it is... You probably shouldn't be wearing it.

You don't even know what you're talking about lmao

what does it say when you enter any PvP zone?

    oh

    yeah

※While synced, all item stats are adjusted. During PvP, materia bonuses are also ignored.

So all the top tier / top 10 players on pretty much every data center are noobs then, huh? Yeah... no. Almost all of them, or at least the tanks and DDs, are wearing 3-6 pieces of 180/205 PvP gear to optimize their stats. If you wanna come across like a smartass, at least get your facts straight.

    Lol no

Trust me, I've been checking since he mentioned it and most of the players that I meet up with in there are not even wearing PvP gear, so I'm not even sure where he's getting his "facts". And yes, just because you're in the top 10 doesn't mean you can't still be a noob. I've already seen a few of them (on the enemy side and my own side) which don't deserve the rank, but have gotten where they are because of RNG (basically getting stuck with good players to help carry them).

You can't automatically assume everyone in the top tier/top 10 is actually good just because of their rank/tier. If this were a better matchmaking system, you'd be onto something here... But because this one is controlled heavily by RNG, it basically separates the players with good luck from the players with bad luck and that factors more into the equation than anyone's skill right now.
