Implement more art from other games into FFXIV.

With the constant rise and love for the FFXIII event and items, and now even people asking for more stuff from FFXIII, maybe the dev team/designers that work on stuff like outfits and such and can focus on bringing things from other games that I'm sure players would love.

Examples..

More FFXIII characters, more than Serah




FFXII. Honestly they would easily get away with throwing in a DRK glamour as a start, with the Judges and all. The game looks great and character designs are awesome(still waiting for the bunny race!). I always thought the judges looks awesome >_<




FFVII: Dirge of Cerberus. Yeah, you know what would make an awesome MCN glmaour?

Final Fantasy Type-O. This game definitely offers a new style as far as FF goes imo, but there looks to be a lot of roles in that game they could add to FFXIV as far as glamour.




FFIV. Rydia hair and outfit. :O I never knew this.




FFVI Celes Amano. This is the best reference I could find that would be high res and close to what I would guess we'd get. >_<




Final Fantasy X. At least Auron? Please? <.<

What I would want from each FF.

FF4: Edward outfit, in fact a Bard job like Edward. Adult Rydia Hair for Ladies, as well as her outfit.
FF5: Nothing? Maybe Faris as a NPC...she's cool.
FF6: Celes Amano Outfit, hated all Male Characters here...
FF7: Aerith Hair and Outfit, Cloud's outfit is already here >.< Cait Sith and his Moogle should be NPC in GS...and where where where is Round Square?!! I want to go on a gondola ride
FF8: I'd love an FF8 raid tbf, like Crystal Tower was from FF3. Seed outfits, and hairstyles (one of the more realistic FF's)
FF9: Zidane Outfit is now a sub reward so that's covered, woulda loved a Vivi one, it's quite gender neutral.
FF10: Braids for our hair! In fact hair decorations full stop.
FF13: EVERYTHING.
FF13-2: EVERYTHING.
Lightning Returns: EVERYTHING.
Type 0: Uniforms please, and a job which plays like Seven...debuffing whip based mid/melee hybrid with ENDLESS combos...she was great.

Totally not biased to the trilogy :/

What would an FF8 based raid entail? Ultimecia's castle? I'd dig fighting through all those seal guardians as bosses and mini-bosses.

Even though I'm not a giant FF7 fan, I'd still love a Tifa outfit (either original or Advent Children).

Definitely agree on Rydia's outfit though. That would be cool. A Squall outfit could be very cool as well.

Kind of like they did with the Garlean Empire's armor clearly being FFXII's empire only much cooler stylistically. I know bad cosplay is a borderline fetish for this game's population, but I'd rather have more that fit the game world.

Yeah I agree. Personally though I liked FFXII's style more, but that's just me. The bronze/brown style really did a number on me, I'm a big fan of brown/goldish colors.

Except the development team are already on record saying they will not be doing anymore 'fanservice' raids - the Crystal Tower was basically the exception rather than the rule (I don't have the link to hand but I understand it was during one of the Live letters a while ago). Although we are getting the Warring Triad from FFVI as upcoming trial battles so that could sort of count.

I must admit though, as much as I love fanservice, there does come a point where you have too much of a good thing - I would love FFXIV to still retain it's own identity rather than be bogged down under pointless fanservice added just for the hells of it which has little to no connection to FFXIV's narrative or world.

But I guess I'm in the minority here...
