I'd argue the main reason we haven't had beast tribe dailies for them is for the most part both groups operate relatively benignly in society. We have Qiqirn work either as scavenger/thieves or traders. They don't as a group seem to be having any particular stuggle or issue. The Mamool-Ja are a possibility but its likely half the issue there is they don't have a set place and the ones in Eorzea are effectively a mercenary force. I could see beast tribe quests for them in the future as they look for a place to settle.

I think the Qiqirn I would laugh if their deity was Magic pot summon. though how would it work as a boss.

As for the mamool ja if I were SE I would bring back the pandemonium warden from FFXI for their deity, would make one hell of a fight.

They just migrated from Vandiel and were used since the models were easy to transfer over from FFXI. Maybe they'll flesh them out later, but I wouldn't bet on it.

I don't think it says anywhere that they specifically migrated from FF11's world in the lore.

Speaking of the Warden and Alexander. I just noticed that The Oppressor has attacks from 2 of the adds from the Warden's boss fight (Discoid and Mortal Revolution).

Well, technically speaking, the Warden only has those attacks because he morphs into other enemies that use those attacks. And where did those enemies come from? The Alzadaal Undersea Ruins - aka, Alexander. It makes sense for the enemies in Alexander in this game to possess some of the same attack names as the enemies from Alexander in FFXI. The other primals are the same way (Mountain Buster, Spinning Dive, Thunderspark, etc were all attack names from FFXI).

No, but the models are a direct copy of the races from XI, even if they didn't migrate from there. Quiqirn and Mamool Ja were introduced in Treasures of Aht Urghan, and they both had fully fledged lore and societies in that game.

They really are just an afterthought in Eorzea. Maybe SE has plans for them in future expansions, but it'll probably require us visiting a new continent to encounter their home civilizations.

I don't know about the qiqirn but the mamool ja have the bathing dance, beside which the power of a primal fades into insignificance.
